Epsom Salt

Epsom Salt -- Magnesium Sulfate -- is a pure mineral that benefits your skin and body in a number of ways.

Bath time - Add two cups of epsom salts to your bath, soak for 15 minutes. This should reduce the swelling and inflammation of body aches and pains. For the ultimate relaxation, drink a hot cup of green tea with honey whist in your epson salts bath.

Body Scrub - Heaven in a couple of steps.

2 cups of Epsom salts
3/4 extra virgin olive oil
40 drops of essential oil (scent is your choice)

Mix ingredients together, place in container and use within six months.

Face cleanser - Mix a 1/2 tsp of Epsom Salt with your regular cleansing cream or gel. Massage into skin and rinse with cold water.

I just discovered that Shoppers carries scented Epsom salts, life brand. Scents include; Lavender and Citrus.

  1. LOVE LOVE LOVE epsom salts! I've been using them for years. Great for body aches, sore feet and relaxation. I've seen the scented ones but haven't tried them yet. I'll have to try the scrub - I love that you can make a batch & keep it!
